Pringle Bay has a lot to offer and is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday or weekend getaway. In addition, there are many other towns in Cape Overberg to explore during your holiday as well as several exciting adventures such as Adventure Race, Sandboarding, Rock-climbing, Abseiling, Black Water Tubing and Diving.


Places to visit in Betty's Bay

Betty’s Bay is 11 km (5-10 minutes) drive from Pringle Bay and there you can:

  • Visit the beautiful Harold Porter Botanical Garden.
  • Visit the Stony Point land based penguin colony.
  • Find several beaches, do fishing or eat at one of the restaurants.
  • Do one of the spectacular walks or hikes.
  • Try out sandboarding at the Silver Sands, a fun activity for all ages; sitting or standing. If you bring your own “board” you only need to pay a nominal fee to enter the dunes against the mountain.


Things to do and to see in Kleinmond

Kleinmond is 22 km (about 20 minutes) drive from Pringle Bay and there you can:

  • Find the Hangklip-Kleinmond Tourism Bureau where you can access information about the Overberg and Whale Coast area and rent a bike.
  • Pamper yourself at the Arabella spa.
  • Play golf at Arabella and Kleinmond Golf Clubs.
  • Visit one of the beaches, go fishing or enjoy a meal in one of the restaurants.
  • View the Wild Horses
  • Do one of the spectacular walks or hikes.
  • Engage in paragliding, canoeing, abseiling, tubing, white water rafting or an exciting and scenic quad bike tour.
  • Visit the Abalone and Toy Museum.
  • Visit the Harbour Market.


Activities in Hermanus

Hermanus is 56 km (about 35 minutes) drive from Pringle Bay and there you can:

  • Watch whales (June-November) either from land or from boat.
  • Watch White Shark from boat or cage dive.
  • Play golf on Hermanus golf club.
  • Go diving
  • Wine tasting, you can find your own route or get inspiration here.
  • Embark on a kayak adventure.
  • Visit one of the beaches, go fishing, eat at one of the many restaurants or visit a market.


Rooiels

Rooiels is about 5 minutes drive from Pringle Bay and there you can:

  • Find a small beach and a restaurant.
